Institut de Soudure Industrie has established high performance destructive testing facilities in France and abroad in order to satisfy your needs for the characterisation of materials and assemblies. These facilities have been designed to meet the needs of manufacturers with respect to schedules, quality and productivity.
The missions undertaken by our destructive testing facilities:
Characterisation and certification of materials
Qualification of welding operating processes
Qualification of welders
Production of test coupons
Acceptance of prototypes
Means
Materials test laboratory at Villepinte (PEM) : Inaugurated in 2008 at Villepinte, it boasts a floor space of 800 m². Certified by Cofrac, it undertakes mechanical, chemical and metallographic characterisation tests of materials and assemblies.
Port-de-Bouc Laboratory (Bouches-du-Rhône) : This Cofrac certified laboratory is dedicated to mechanical and metallographic tests.
Corbas Laboratory (Rhône-Alpes) : This Cofrac certified laboratory is dedicated to mechanical and metallographic tests.
Corrosion laboratory in Bangkok (Thailand) : Inaugurated in 2001 and attached to IS Industrie (Thailand), this latest generation platform enables to perform resistance testing to Hydrogen-Initiated Cracking (HIC) and to Sulphide Stress Cracking (SSC) in H2S environments.
